A beautiful sunset with a distant reflection near these amazing sea stacks. I was only here for one night, but what an amazing array of colors this sunset had to offer. This was my first visit to the northernmost tip of the Olympic National Park. A relatively easy hike aside from slogging through some deep sand at high tide. First, a hike through an alluring rainforest and then out onto a coastal beach where the sand is beaten and smashed all day by the oceans surf. My time here was spent at the furthest end of the beach at Point of the Arches....lying in my hammock, listening to the waves crashing against these volcanic rocks on the shoreline. Tides were not planned nor was weather considered. A trip I will not forget and yet another place I will most definitely return to.
