A 4am grind up to the summit of Forbidden Plateau offered picturesque views. I stopped part way up as the sun was just peaking over the tops of these clouds casting its light below onto Comox Lake. Not a bad way to start the day.
Kicking off winter with a bit of snowshoeing back in December. This shot was completely unplanned as we decided to leave a bit later in the morning. We approached this lookout point just as the color started to pop. Seconds later the sun came over the horizon just enough to grab this sunstar.
