Turning to the beaches and rocky shores along the Oregon Coast, looking for interesting things to photograph during the day. Not just the obvious, but the less obvious is something I search for. Seeing these tiny granules of sand that have come together over centuries to form this cemented sandstone is something I no longer take for granted. Like many things geology, sandstone takes so long to form, it’s practically it’s own fossil. Neat stuff.
